How to monitor StubHub ticket prices

Watch resale prices for an event and buy when they dip.

Resale prices drift down as an ordinary event approaches and spike when it sells out. A monitor on the event page shows which way yours is moving.

01

Start with the right page

The event page for the exact date and venue. For a multi-night run, monitor each night separately—prices move independently.

Page type StubHub event page
02

Select the signal, not the noise

Select the lowest-price or get-in price area, plus the section filter you care about. Exclude countdown banners and "selling fast" nudges designed to change often.

In the page-area picker, keep the smallest section that still contains enough context to understand the alert.

03

Tune the alert

Schedule

A few checks per day fit most events; increase frequency in the final days before the event, when resale prices move fastest.

Keyword filter

Leave this blank to receive any change within your selected area.

Delivery

Start with email. Connect Zapier or IFTTT when the alert needs to enter another workflow.

04

Preview, save, and refine

Check that Preview contains the information you expect, then save the monitor. If the first alerts include unrelated content, edit the monitor and make the selected area smaller.

Good to know

Displayed prices usually exclude StubHub's fees, which are added at checkout. Compare alerts against the final checkout price at least once so you know the real gap.
