How to monitor Costco price changes

Watch a Costco.com product for price cuts and limited-time instant savings.

Costco discounts arrive as time-boxed instant savings and quiet markdowns, so a monitor on the price area catches the window without daily visits.

01

Start with the right page

The Costco.com page for the exact item. Warehouse-only items and prices are not shown online, so this works best for products sold on the website.

02

Select the signal, not the noise

Select the price and any "after $X OFF" instant-savings text. Exclude membership upsells, delivery estimates, and recommended products.

In the page-area picker, keep the smallest section that still contains enough context to understand the alert.

03

Tune the alert

Schedule

Daily is usually enough—Costco promotions typically run on multi-week cycles rather than hourly swings.

Keyword filter

Leave this blank to receive any change within your selected area.

Delivery

Start with email. Connect Zapier or IFTTT when the alert needs to enter another workflow.

04

Preview, save, and refine

Check that Preview contains the information you expect, then save the monitor. If the first alerts include unrelated content, edit the monitor and make the selected area smaller.

Good to know

Some prices only appear after member sign-in, and online prices differ from warehouse prices. If Preview shows "Sign in for price", the monitor cannot see the member price.
