How to monitor jobs on Greenhouse

Get notified when a company's public Greenhouse job board changes.

This works well for a shortlist of employers when you care about new roles before they spread to aggregators.

01

Start with the right page

The employer's public boards.greenhouse.io job list, ideally already narrowed to a team or location when the board supports it.

02

Select the signal, not the noise

Select the list of openings or the department you care about. Exclude the company introduction and footer.

In the page-area picker, keep the smallest section that still contains enough context to understand the alert.

03

Tune the alert

Schedule

Daily checks suit most job boards. Use more frequent checks for a particularly competitive role or a known hiring window.

Keyword filter

Try “Your role or location” only if you want alerts limited to changed elements containing that phrase. Learn how keyword monitoring works.

Delivery

Start with email. Connect Zapier or IFTTT when the alert needs to enter another workflow.

04

Preview, save, and refine

Check that Preview contains the information you expect, then save the monitor. If the first alerts include unrelated content, edit the monitor and make the selected area smaller.

Good to know

A keyword filter only alerts when changed content includes that phrase. Leave it blank if you want to see every role added or removed.
