How to monitor Newegg price changes

Watch a PC part's price block and catch drops and promo codes.

Component prices swing quickly with supply. A monitor on the exact part tells you about the dip while it is still in stock.

01

Start with the right page

The product page for the exact model number, sold by Newegg itself if possible—marketplace sellers price and ship differently.

02

Select the signal, not the noise

Select the current price plus any promo-code or combo-savings text beside it. Exclude reviews, "similar products", and shell-shocker banners for other items.

In the page-area picker, keep the smallest section that still contains enough context to understand the alert.

03

Tune the alert

Schedule

A few checks per day fit fast-moving parts like GPUs; daily is fine for everything else.

Keyword filter

Leave this blank to receive any change within your selected area.

Delivery

Start with email. Connect Zapier or IFTTT when the alert needs to enter another workflow.

04

Preview, save, and refine

Check that Preview contains the information you expect, then save the monitor. If the first alerts include unrelated content, edit the monitor and make the selected area smaller.

Good to know

Promo codes expire quickly and some prices require activating an offer. When an alert arrives, check whether the shown price needs a code before it disappears.
