How to monitor Amazon price changes

Watch a product's price area and get an alert when Amazon updates it.

Useful for a planned purchase when you would rather not keep reopening the same product page.

01

Start with the right page

The exact product detail page for the item and variation you want—not a search results page.

02

Select the signal, not the noise

Select the current price and, if relevant, the deal or coupon text beside it. Exclude recommendations, delivery countdowns, and rotating banners.

In the page-area picker, keep the smallest section that still contains enough context to understand the alert.

03

Tune the alert

Schedule

Hourly is a practical starting point for an ordinary purchase; use a schedule that matches how urgently you need the update.

Keyword filter

Leave this blank to receive any change within your selected area.

Delivery

Start with email. Connect Zapier or IFTTT when the alert needs to enter another workflow.

04

Preview, save, and refine

Check that Preview contains the information you expect, then save the monitor. If the first alerts include unrelated content, edit the monitor and make the selected area smaller.

Good to know

Amazon changes its markup frequently and may show different prices by location or account. Check Preview and reselect the price if the page layout changes.

Ready to hand off the refreshing?
